Kids and Teens
What is the environment? The environment is everything that surrounds us, from the air, to the chemicals, to the number of trees, to the food we eat. These are all part of your environment.
What we do:
- We bring games and information to the fairs and other community events to teach children about the environment and how it can affect our bodies.
- We run a Youth Community Council for youth ages 14-17. The YCC is a group of committed high school students from Salinas who are working together to learn about environmental health and making positive changes in their community (click here to learn more).
- We give Puppet Shows:
Exploring your environment with Pablo the clown, Paco the parrot, and Maria the squirrel!
